Frontiers Music Srl is set to release the upcoming studio album titled “Babylon” from LYNCH MOB on October 20
This latest offering from LYNCH MOB sees esteemed guitarist and founder of the band, George Lynch (also known for his work with THE END MACHINE, THE BANISHMENT, and his past involvement with DOKKEN), collaborating with vocalist Gabriel Colón, bassist Jaron Gulino (recognized for his roles in TANTRIC and HEAVENS EDGE), and drummer Jimmy D’Anda (formerly of BULLETBOYS).
The music video for the album’s lead single, “Time After Time,” is now available for viewing. Bringing an East Coast attitude and energy to LYNCH MOB is Jaron Gulino, hailing from New Jersey. He boasts a prolific career as a bassist, notably with the post-grunge rock outfit TANTRIC, achieving chart-topping success and performing with various prominent acts. Currently, Gulino also holds the bassist position with Philadelphia’s hard rock group, HEAVENS EDGE.
Lynch says: “There’s been so many iterations of LYNCH MOB since the first lineup in 1989 of Oni Logan, Mick Brown, Anthony Esposito and myself. Putting LYNCH MOB together was just an extension of what I’d always strived for in a band: the best possible musicians, chemistry, and brotherhood.
“My bands have not only been my best friends, but also family. When we come up together and work hard and struggle together, we create a bond that lasts a lifetime. I think that’s the thing I love the most about my musical journey…creating music in the studio, stepping on stage, and sharing that bond with my friends through music. Thank you to everyone who has been in my band. I really feel it’s ours.”
Collaborating with Gulino is his partner in the rhythm section, the original BULLETBOYS drummer, Jimmy D’Anda, renowned for infusing captivating grooves while maintaining LYNCH MOB‘s signature powerful hard rock essence. Providing the vocals is Gabriel Colón, a Puerto Rican singer who initially embarked on his musical journey with the band FAST TAKER. Colón has demonstrated his versatile vocal prowess through collaborations with several rock acts, including GOTHIC KNIGHTS, CULPRIT, WHITE WIZZARD, and Rowan Robertson. His exceptional talent makes him a fitting successor to the esteemed vocalists who preceded him in LYNCH MOB.
Founded in 1989 after George Lynch‘s departure from DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB achieved acclaim with their debut release, “Wicked Sensation,” which garnered critical and fan appreciation, ultimately achieving gold certification from the RIAA. Over the years, the band evolved with various accomplished musicians joining Lynch on their musical journey, resulting in six more studio albums. “Babylon” stands as LYNCH MOB‘s eighth studio album overall and their first since 2017’s “The Brotherhood.”
Fans are encouraged not to miss LYNCH MOB‘s fall tour, which includes a virtual appearance on Talk Shop Live scheduled for October 18, as well as a special record-release party performance at the iconic Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood on October 25.
