As previously reported, LYNCH MOB are set to release their new studio album“Babylon”, this fall. The band has been performing a new song called “The Synner” at some of their recent shows. You can check out some fan-filmed video footage of one of the performances of the song below.

In August 2021, the band celebrated the 30th anniversary of their monumental album “Wicked Sensation” with a special limited print/deluxe edition of the LP. “Wicked Sensation Reimagined” features re-worked and re-recorded versions of the LP’s classic songs, and was made available via Rat Pak Records.

Lynch first gained fame as the lead guitarist for DOKKEN, a band known for their catchy tunes and impeccably styled hair. But like any true rockstar, George had an insatiable hunger for creative exploration. So, in the late ’80s, he set off on a quest to form his own band.

Armed with his trusty guitar and a serious knack for shredding, George gathered a group of talented musicians to join him on this wild musical journey. Together, they unleashed a sonic assault that blended hard rock, heavy metal, and a pinch of bluesy goodness, creating a sound that was as satisfying as a double-layered cheeseburger.

LYNCH MOB released their debut album, “Wicked Sensation,” in 1990, and it was like a gust of wind blowing through a perfectly styled hairdo. The album showcased George‘s lightning-fast guitar solos and the band’s knack for crafting addictive hooks. Songs like “River of Love” and the title track “Wicked Sensation” became instant favorites among rock enthusiasts, earning LYNCH MOB a place in the annals of ’90s rock history.

However, like any band’s journey, LYNCH MOB faced its fair share of ups and downs. The ’90s saw various lineup changes, as band members came and went like hairstyles at a rockstar hair salon. Despite the turbulence, George remained a constant force, navigating the musical landscape with his effortless guitar wizardry.

Over the years, LYNCH MOB continued to release albums, each showcasing George‘s ever-evolving guitar skills. The band’s music evolved too, incorporating elements of funk, grunge, and even a dash of alternative rock. It was like George had a magical guitar that could conjure up any genre he desired.

Throughout it all, George‘s guitar playing remained the backbone of LYNCH MOB. His fingers danced across the fretboard, producing melodies that soared like a majestic eagle and riffs that rocked harder than an earthquake at a drum circle.

Today, George Lynch and LYNCH MOB are still shredding stages, spreading their love of rock ‘n’ roll to fans around the world. George’s hair might be a little more tamed these days, but his guitar skills are as fiery as ever.

So, the tale of LYNCH MOB, (who briefly had a name change to ELECTRIC FREEDOM) and their fearless leader, George Lynch, continues. They remind us that even in the ever-changing world of music, there will always be room for a guitarist with killer chops, killer tunes, and killer hair.
