MUSHROOMHEAD Gears Up for New Album After 30th Anniversary Triumph
While on the subject of MUSHROOMHEAD, the masked theatrical metal juggernaut, is revving their engines for a monstrous return! Fresh off celebrating their 30th anniversary last year, the band has completed work on a brand new album, set to hit shelves later in 2024 via Napalm Records.
This highly anticipated LP reunites MUSHROOMHEAD with the legendary mixing talents of Matt Wallace, known for his work on genre-defining albums from FAITH NO MORE and THE REPLACEMENTS. Wallace also helmed the mixing duties for MUSHROOMHEAD‘s critically acclaimed 2003 release, “XIII,” further amping up the excitement for this upcoming project.
The new album marks the follow-up to 2020’s “A Wonderful Life,” a self-produced effort marking the band’s first outing without longtime vocalist Jeff “Jeffrey Nothing” Hatrix and guitarist Tommy Church, who departed in 2018. With a renewed lineup and the seasoned hand of Matt Wallace behind the mixing board, MUSHROOMHEAD promises a potent and unpredictable sonic concoction.
More details about the album, including its title, release date, and potential singles, are expected to surface soon. Brace yourselves for a fresh onslaught of MUSHROOMHEAD‘s signature blend of industrial aggression, melodic hooks, and theatrical flair!
