Marking their return after nearly a decade, technical death metal group JOB FOR A COWBOY has unveiled their latest composition titled “The Agony Seeping Storm”

In an exciting turn of events, JOB FOR A COWBOY is set to grace the stage next week for their first live performance since 2016.
In alignment with this comeback, the band has secured a slot for the September 8th installment of the ‘Blue Ridge Rock Festival‘ scheduled to take place in Alton, VA this year.
Formed in Glendale, Arizona, in 2003, JOB FOR A COWBOY emerged as a prominent force in the death metal scene. Originally known for their intense blend of deathcore, the band underwent a notable evolution, transitioning towards a more technical death metal sound.
Their breakthrough lineup consisted of vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Ravi Bhadriraju and Andrew Arcurio, bassist Brent Riggs, and drummer Elliot Sellers. The band’s early releases, including their demo and extended play “Doom,” gained them recognition within the underground metal community.
The turning point came with their 2007 EP “Genesis,” which showcased a significant shift in their musical style towards a more intricate and progressive death metal sound. This EP garnered substantial attention, earning them a record deal with Metal Blade Records.
