The iconic rock band from California, Y&T, has unveiled the tour dates for their 50th-anniversary European tour
This remarkable journey will commence at the Keep It True Rising festival in Würzburg, Germany, on October 5, 2024, and will encompass further performances in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. You can get the full listing of tour dates below.

In February of this year, Y&T’s frontman, Dave Meniketti, who had courageously shared his battle with prostate cancer a year earlier, announced that he had achieved full remission after undergoing radiation therapy.
However, in July 2022, Y&T was regrettably compelled to cancel their previously scheduled European tour to provide Dave Meniketti with additional recovery time following his radiation treatments.
Dave Meniketti stands as the sole surviving member of the band’s original, which was known as YESTERDAY AND TODAY when they recorded the band’s eponymous debut album.
Tragically, the band’s original rhythm guitarist, Joey Alves, passed away in March 2017 at the age of 63. Additionally, two of the founding musicians, Leonard Haze (aged 61) and Phil Kennemore (aged 57), who had both departed from the lineup, succumbed to complications related to lung cancer. Kennemore passed away on January 7, 2011, and Haze on September 11, 2016.
The group’s present lineup is comprised of guitarist John Nymann, drummer Mike Vanderhule, and bassist Aaron Leigh.
Y&T‘s most recent studio album, “Facemelter,” was released in May 2010 via Frontiers, further solidifying their status as iconic figures in the Bay Area rock scene.
