KITTIE will release its long- awaited new studio album, “Fire”, on Friday, June 21 via Sumerian Records
Heralding the exciting news is the release of brand new single “Vultures” and its accompanying music video featuring live footage of the group’s mainstage performance at this year’s Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 27.
KITTIE vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander states: “10 years ago, if someone would have told us that we would be releasing new KITTIE music in 2024, we’d have dismissed them right away. It feels like something deeper than fate that’s brought us together again, allowing us to create something fearless and magical for you. KITTIE are hitting the road this July and August for a special run of headline shows across North America. This is your chance to witness the all-female force live and experience a full set packed with classic hits, deep cuts, and their scorching new singles “We Are Shadows” and “Eyes Wide Open.”
A Return to the Stage:
The news comes on the heels of KITTIE‘s triumphant return to the stage in September 2022 at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival. This marked the band’s first live performance in five years, igniting excitement among fans.

Fronted by the ever-powerful vocalist Morgan Lander and drummer Mercedes Lander, KITTIE‘s current lineup features the fierce talents of guitarist Tara McLeod and bassist Ivana “Ivy” Vujic.
Fans can expect a trip down memory lane with these upcoming shows. KITTIE‘s setlist might include tracks from their gold-certified debut album “Spit” (2000), alongside deep cuts that haven’t been played live in years.
KITTIE‘s journey hasn’t been without its breaks. After extensive touring for their 2011 album “I’ve Failed You,” the band took a hiatus. During this time, Morgan and Mercedes pursued other endeavors, but the creative spark remained. The band even released a career-spanning documentary, “Origins/Evolutions,” in 2018.
