Last night, on Sunday, November 5, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, during the performance at MTelus, Alissa White-Gluz, the lead vocalist of ARCH ENEMY, made a surprise appearance on stage with DRAGONFORCE

Together, they delivered a captivating cover of Taylor Swift‘s “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version).” You can watch a fan-captured video of this special moment below.

DRAGONFORCE‘s rendition of “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” will be included as a bonus track on their upcoming album, “Warp Speed Warriors,” scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, through Napalm Records.

The album “Warp Speed Warriors” was meticulously produced, mixed, and mastered by Damien Rainaud at Mix Unlimited in Los Angeles, California, with active participation from DRAGONFORCE‘s guitarists, Sam Totman and Herman Li.

Adding to the excitement, guitarist, singer, and content creator Billy Wilkins has been accompanying DRAGONFORCE on their entire North American headline tour. Wilkins initially caught the band’s attention after his viral TikTok cover of their platinum single, “Through The Fire And Flames.” The tour promises a fresh setlist and an impressive stage production, along with special guest appearances by AMARANTHE, NANOWAR OF STEEL, and EDGE OF PARADISE.

In a nod to their past, last November, DRAGONFORCE released a music video for the track “The Last Dragonborn” from their previous studio album, “Extreme Power Metal,” which hit the scene in September 2019. Produced in Los Angeles, California, once again by Damien Rainaud at Mix Unlimited, this album had the unique feature of being partly recorded on Herman Li‘s Twitch livestream channel, with fan involvement.

The Last Dragonborn” marked the introduction of bassist Alicia Vigil, who initially joined the band as a touring member in January 2020.

Notably, DRAGONFORCE‘s platinum-selling single “Through The Fire And Flames” brought international recognition to the Grammy-nominated extreme power metal ensemble from London and featured as the most challenging track on “Guitar Hero III.”

In a proud milestone, in March 2019, the music video for “Through The Fire And Flames” crossed the one hundred million views mark on YouTube, becoming DRAGONFORCE’s first music video to achieve this feat.

Through The Fire And Flames” serves as the opening track on their 2006 album, “Inhuman Rampage,” which received official gold certification from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in July 2017 for exceeding half a million copies in sales.
