PUDDLE OF MUDD will release a new album, “Ubiquitous”, on September 8 via Pavement Entertainment
The follow-up to 2019’s “Welcome To Galvania” will be available on streaming and traditional platforms worldwide.
PUDDLE OF MUDD lead singer and rhythm guitarist Wes Scantlin comments: “Fans can expect another really catchy, hooky record from PUDDLE OF MUDD.”
To give everyone a preview of what’s to come, PUDDLE OF MUDD has released an instant-gratification track, “My Baby”, from “Ubiquitous”. The song evokes an iconic grunge sound that listeners will love and chronicles just how far some people will go for rock ‘n’ roll. You can check it out below.
In a December 2022 interview with radio station Z93, Wes Scantlin confirmed that he had been working with former PUDDLE OF MUDD bassist Doug Ardito and the band’s ex-guitarist Christian Stone on new music, saying: “It’s awesome, man. Those guys are just amazing, and they will always be amazing, amazing musicians and songwriters. They’ve actually stored so many songs that we have actually collaborated together with in the last 10, whatever, years. And I can’t wait to be able to work with them and go back and forth and do a collaboration-type deal. But, fortunately, they have families and stuff. And God bless all their children and their families and everything. Families are the most important thing.”
