NILE, the Egyptian-themed death metal stalwarts hailing from South Carolina, have wrapped up the mixing process for their latest album at a renowned Nashville studio

Collaborating with esteemed producer Mark Lewis, known for his work with heavyweights like MEGADETH, WHITECHAPEL, and DEVILDRIVER, among others, the band is poised to deliver their highly anticipated tenth LP.

In a recent glimpse shared by NILE, founder Karl Sanders and Lewis were captured applying the final touches to the forthcoming release. This album marks a significant milestone for the band, especially with the addition of new members Dan Vadim Von and Zach Jeter, alongside longtime drummer George Kollias.

The clip was accompanied by the following caption: “We are DONE mixing the new NILE album! This album sounds killer – We have put our hearts and souls into this record, and we believe that the amount of time, effort, and detail that went into it shows through the music. \m/”

With ten tracks in the pipeline, the album promises to be a potent follow-up to their acclaimed 2019 offering, “Vile Nilotic Rites.” Notably, the departure of bassist/vocalist Brad Parris has paved the way for this new chapter in NILE‘s evolution.

Renowned for their unique fusion of traditional and technical death metal with Ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern influences, NILE has garnered international acclaim.

With the backing of Napalm Records, the band is set to unleash their latest opus, a testament to their enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of extreme music.

Upon initially announcing the band’s new touring lineup, NILE said: “Vadim and Zach are both highly experienced professionals who fit in perfectly with NILE‘s brutal, highly demanding technical music.

“Through the lineup changes over NILE‘s career we have always strived to take these opportunities to bring NILE‘s performance to a higher level, while remaining true to our own musical identity and creative vision. This is another step up for us and we welcome what Zach and Vadim are bringing to the team.

“We are thrilled to continue bringing NILE‘s music to our fans and look forward to seeing everyone at 70k [70000 Tons Of Metal cruise in late January 2024] and beyond. Get ready, it’s going to be epic!”
