MAMMOTH WVH, the musical venture led by former VAN HALEN bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, has unveiled headline tour dates for 2024 in support of their second album, “Mammoth II”
The initial leg of the tour, running from February 21, 2024, to March 10, 2024, will see the return of special guest Nita Strauss. Following that, the second leg is scheduled from May 4, 2024, to May 17, 2024, featuring rockers INTERVALS as special guests. General public ticket sales for all headline shows will commence on Friday, December 8, at 10 a.m. local time.
Wolfgang says: “2023 has been an amazing year and 2024 is shaping up to be even busier. To be able to headline more shows with Nita Strauss and then having INTERVALS join us later is so exciting. I am honored that I get to return to that incredible METALLICA stage as well as reunite with Dave Grohl and the guys in the FOO FIGHTERS. I can’t wait to see everyone next year.”

Released in August through BMG, “Mammoth II” comprises 10 tracks recorded at the iconic 5150 studio and produced by Wolfgang’s collaborator and friend, Michael “Elvis” Baskette.
Adhering to the tradition of crafting all songs and handling all instruments and vocals himself, Wolfgang aimed to push his musical boundaries beyond the familiar. From the energetic opener “Right?” to the BEATLES-esque fade of the closing track “Better Than You,” “Mammoth II” showcases Wolfgang’s evolution as a songwriter, musician, and particularly as a vocalist. Tracks like “Like A Pastime,” “Take A Bow,” and “Waiting” exhibit sonic diversity, reflecting the distinct musical identity of Wolfgang Van Halen and MAMMOTH WVH.
The debut single from “Mammoth II” is the lively rocker “Another Celebration At The End Of The World.” The accompanying 8:25-minute music video introduces the MAMMOTH WVH live band. Picking up where the music video for the No. 1 single “Don’t Back Down” left off, the new video depicts a frustrated Wolfgang replacing the other Wolfgangs from the previous video with his live band, featuring Frank Sidoris (guitars), Jon Jourdan (guitars), Ronnie Ficarro (bass), and Garrett Whitlock (drums).
Directed by Gordy De St. Jeor, the video captures the dynamic essence of the live performances.
