LAST IN LINE have dropped their new music video for the song “Not Today Satan” off their latest album “Jericho”

LAST IN LINE, the band featuring the charismatic frontman Andrew Freeman, renowned bassist Phil Soussan (formerly of OZZY OSBOURNE), and the original DIO members, Vivian Campbell (of DEF LEPPARD fame) and Vinny Appice (formerly of BLACK SABBATH), has just unveiled the official music video for their track “Not Today Satan.” This powerful song is part of LAST IN LINE‘s third studio album, “Jericho,” which saw its release through earMUSIC in March.

The production of “Jericho” was expertly overseen by Chris Collier, known for his work with esteemed bands like KORN and WHITESNAKE, among others. The band’s first two albums were helmed by the accomplished Jeff Pilson, a former member of DOKKEN and the current bassist for FOREIGNER.

Campbell explained: “With LAST IN LINE, just as we did with DIO, we cut the basic tracks live. It’s important for us to capture the energy of the syncopation of playing together in real time — much like the energy of a live show. This record represents the best of both worlds: the spirit of an energetic band performance, and the more reflective and nuanced qualities of our individual performances, too.”

Appice stated: “All the musical forces of LAST IN LINE are combined here for a super-powerful new record. Press play and put your seatbelts on!!”

In spite of the challenges posed by the past two years of isolation, “Jericho” stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of hard rock. The album showcases stellar studio performances by this exceptional lineup of musicians.

In a surprising twist last year, LAST IN LINE treated fans to a unique rendition of THE BEATLES classic “A Day In The Life,” released on a limited 12-inch silver collector’s EP bearing the same title.

The partnership between LAST IN LINE and earMUSIC was announced in February 2022 by Vinny Appice during his appearance on “Waste Some Time With Jason Green.” During the same interview, it was revealed that the band had completed recording six additional new tracks in late January, recorded at Danny “Count” Koker‘s Desert Moon studios in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Founded in 2012 by Vinny Appice, Vivian Campbell, and bassist Jimmy Bain—renowned co-conspirators and co-writers on iconic albums like “Holy Diver,” “Last In Line,” and “Sacred Heart” by Ronnie James DioLAST IN LINE initially aimed to pay tribute to Dio‘s early work by reuniting the original DIO lineup. After captivating audiences with performances featuring songs exclusively from the first three DIO albums, the band decided to embark on a new musical journey, creating original material in the same cherished vein.

Their debut album, “Heavy Crown,” made a significant impact when it dropped in February 2016 via Frontiers Music Srl, skyrocketing to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Tragically, the release was overshadowed by the unexpected passing of bassist Jimmy Bain on January 23, 2016, at the age of 68. True to their commitment to honor Bain‘s legacy, LAST IN LINE brought in Phil Soussan and embarked on an extensive tour to support the album. This was followed by their second album, “II,” released in 2019 through Frontiers Music Srl.
