Iconic British heavy metal band JUDAS PRIEST have unveiled their latest single, “Panic Attack”
This track is a glimpse into their forthcoming studio album, “Invincible Shield,” slated for release on March 8, 2024, under Sony Music.
The announcement of the release date for JUDAS PRIEST‘s eagerly anticipated follow-up to their 2018 album, “Firepower,” took place during their performance at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California, on October 7. The set began with the iconic “War Pigs” by BLACK SABBATH as an intro, followed by a striking visual display on the video screens proclaiming the album’s title, “The Invincible Shield.” The captivating cover artwork for both the CD and vinyl editions of “Invincible Shield” can be viewed below.

Rob Halford previously confirmed that JUDAS PRIEST‘s next album would see the band reuniting with the “Firepower” production team consisting of producer Andy Sneap, longtime collaborator Tom Allom and engineer Mike Exeter (BLACK SABBATH).
Bassist Ian Hill stands as the sole original member of JUDAS PRIEST, having been part of the band since its inception in 1969. Vocalist Rob Halford joined in 1973, and guitarist Glenn Tipton came on board in 1974. In the early 1990s, Rob briefly departed from PRIEST to form his own band but returned in 2003. Original guitarist K.K. Downing parted ways with the band in 2011, and he was succeeded by Richie Faulkner.
