Lacey Sturm, the vocalist of FLYLEAF, is set to release her second solo album, “Kenotic Metanoia,” on November 17, 2023

Serving as the official successor to her debut album, “Life Screams,” which climbed the Billboard charts in 2015, “Kenotic Metanoia” provides a window into a more seasoned phase of Lacey Sturm‘s illustrious career, marked by a deeply personal touch.
“All these songs have been for my own heart,” Lacey, who has been very open about her Christian faith, offers. “When David sings the Psalms, a lot of the time he’s telling his soul what to do. That’s me too in this: telling my soul, singing what I know to be true.”
“Kenotic Metanoia” is characterized by Sturm‘s signature scorching vocal prowess, complemented by the fiery guitar riffs of her husband, Josh Sturm.

FLYLEAF reunited with Lacey for their first concert in 11 years on April 27 at Schoepf’s BBQ in Belton, Texas.
Prior to the Belton performance, FLYLEAF had not graced the stage since 2016, and they wrapped up their festival appearances for the year at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Alton, Virginia, in September.
Lacey Sturm departed from FLYLEAF in October 2012, leading to the introduction of Kristen May as her successor. Kristen May contributed to one album with the band, “Between The Stars,” released in 2014, before departing.
