BLINK-182 is gearing up to release their highly anticipated album, “One More Time…,” which is set to drop on October 20 through Columbia Records

This album is significant as it marks the return of the classic BLINK-182 lineup, featuring Mark Hoppus (bass, vocals), Tom DeLonge (guitar, vocals), and Travis Barker (drums), and it’s their first full album together since 2011.

To kick off the album announcement, the band has unveiled a heartfelt trailer for “One More Time…“. The trailer features candid interview footage sourced from the band’s extensive interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, along with both current and archival clips. In this trailer, Mark, Tom, and Travis open up like never before, delving into topics they’ve never publicly discussed. The teaser also offers a glimpse of three new songs, including the title track “One More Time,” which is scheduled for release on Thursday, September 21, accompanied by an official music video. Fans can look forward to the complete Zane Lowe interview, exclusively available on Apple Music soon.

The trio worked on “One More Time…” while in the midst of their blockbuster reunion tour, which saw them selling out arenas, amphitheaters, and stadiums around the globe. Produced by Travis Barker, the album boasts 17 fresh tracks that showcase the band at their absolute best, weaving in themes of tragedy, triumph, and, most notably, their unbreakable brotherhood.

In April, BLINK-182 made a momentous return to the stage at the Coachella festival in Indio, California, reuniting with Tom DeLonge for the first time in a public performance since 2014. Their electrifying 50-minute set marked an unexpected addition to the festival, with the announcement coming just a day before from DeLonge himself.

The band initially planned to kick off their reunion tour in Mexico and South America in March, but an unfortunate finger injury to Travis Barker during rehearsals forced them to postpone those dates. Their North American leg of the reunion tour eventually launched in May and continued through July, with TURNSTILE providing support, delighting fans across the continent.

In the realm of music streaming, BLINK-182‘s 2022 reunion single “Edging” has made quite the impact, amassing over 70 million Spotify streams and still counting.

Reflecting on their remarkable journey, BLINK-182‘s story began nearly three decades ago in a San Diego garage, evolving into a worldwide phenomenon. With over fifty million albums sold globally, they’ve rocked stages from Adelaide to Zurich, solidifying their status as one of the defining rock bands of their generation. As The New York Times aptly noted, “No punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than BLINK-182.”

Tom DeLonge‘s history with the band spans from their 1995 debut album, “Cheshire Cat,” through to 2003’s “Untitled” release, followed by his departure in 2005. He rejoined the group in 2011 for the “Neighborhoods” LP before departing once more in 2015.

BLINK-182‘s recent albums, “California” in 2016 and “Nine” in 2019, featured the talents of ALKALINE TRIO‘s Matt Skiba.

In recent years, Tom DeLonge has been actively involved with ANGELS & AIRWAVES, and his reconnection with Mark followed the latter’s triumphant battle with cancer in 2021. Meanwhile, Travis Barker has continued to collaborate with numerous musicians and made headlines with his marriage to Kourtney Kardashian.
