Chris Fronzak, the lead vocalist of ATTILA, made an announcement that he intends to run for the presidency of the United States
The metalcore vocalist and adult entertainer unveiled his campaign on September 4th, supposedly aligning himself with the Libertarian party. He shared this news while enjoying a beer in the video below.
Fronzak says: “Today is the biggest day of my life. My name is Chris Fronzak and I am running for President of the United States of America. I am not a politician, but let’s face it, the world has never been helped by politicians. The government is corrupt, we don’t need any more politicians running the show. We need real people, real critical thinkers. We need a candidate that represents the American population.
I came from nothing and because of the American Dream and my God given talent, I was able to build an empire. I want to make America a better place for everyone. I represent every single person in this beautiful country, and I want to make sure your voice is heard. That’s why I believe you should vote for me to be President of the United States of America.”
ATTILA is an American metalcore band known for its controversial lyrics, energetic performances, and a blend of metalcore and rap influences. The band was formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2005 by its founding members, Chris Fronzak (vocals) and Sean Heenan (drums). Over the years, the lineup has seen several changes, but Fronzak has remained the consistent frontman and driving force of the band.
ATTILA released their debut album, “Fallacy,” in 2007, which showcased their unique fusion of heavy breakdowns and rap-infused verses. However, it was their sophomore release, “Rage,” in 2010 that catapulted them to greater recognition within the metalcore and post-hardcore scenes. The album featured tracks like “The End” and “The Invitation,” which became fan favorites and staples of their live shows.
Subsequent albums, including “Outlawed” (2011) and “About That Life” (2013), continued to cement ATTILA‘s reputation as a provocative and divisive force in the metalcore genre. In 2016, the band released “Chaos,” which featured a slightly more melodic and experimental sound compared to their previous work. This album marked a departure from their earlier aggressive style while still maintaining their signature attitude.
Over the years, ATTILA has maintained a rigorous touring schedule amidst the unleashing of more recent albums “Villain” (2019) and “Closure” (2021), consistently engaging with their fanbase and building a strong online presence. They have also earned a reputation for their humorous and often tongue-in-cheek approach to their music and image.
Despite polarizing opinions within the metal community, ATTILA has remained a relevant and influential force in the metalcore scene. Their ability to evolve and adapt their sound while staying true to their core identity has allowed them to maintain a dedicated following and continue to release new music well into the 2020s.
