Former LORNA SHORE vocalist CJ Mcreery’s IMMORTAL DISFIGUREMENT unleash the music video for the pulverizing new track “King”
Having unveiled “Dragged through the Inferno” in the previous year and followed it up with the release of “There Is No Light” earlier this year, CJ McCreery, the former frontman of both LORNA SHORE and SIGNS OF THE SWARM, returns once more to the forefront of the music scene. This time, he emerges with his latest project, IMMORTAL DISFIGUREMENT, and a brand-new single titled “King.” You can check it out below.

Now, with IMMORTAL DISFIGUREMENT, McCreery collaborates with a lineup of accomplished musicians. Guitarist Josh Freeman, who was once part of A WAKE IN PROVIDENCE alongside LORNA SHORE‘s frontman Will Ramos, contributes his instrumental prowess to the group. Accompanying them are drummer Leo McClain and bass player Shane Slade, both recognized figures in the music world. McClain‘s rhythmic mastery and Slade‘s commanding basslines add depth and intensity to the band’s sound.
The music video for “King” retains the artistic direction of Joey Durango, a skilled director known for capturing the essence of the music in visual form. The song’s sonic quality is a result of the meticulous work of Nico Beninato at Kimera Recordings, where the mixing and mastering processes took place. Noteworthy as well is the contribution of Harry Tadayon, the creative mind behind the track’s orchestration, infusing it with intricate and captivating arrangements.
