The members of METALLICA have released a tribute video in honor of Jon and Marsha Zazula
The iconic metal band recently took the stage for a concert in Hollywood, Florida to celebrate the life and legacy of the Megaforce Records founder and his wife on November 6 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Just before the concert, METALLICA played a 10-minute video in which drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield and guitarist Kirk Hammett paid tribute to Jon and Marsha Zazula, who gave the group their break by signing them to Megaforce back in 1982. METALLICA would go on to release their first two studio albums, , 1983’s “Kill ‘Em All” and 1984’s “Ride The Lightning“, via the then brand-new label.
The concert saw METALLICA play songs exclusively from their first two albums and featured support from fellow Megaforce allumni RAVEN.
