Celebrating the 35th anniversary of SKID ROW’s groundbreaking debut album, “Skid Row,” former frontman Sebastian Bach is set to take fans on a nostalgic journey by performing the iconic LP in its entirety at selected shows in 2024

The initial dates for this special celebration have been unveiled, with performances scheduled for April 27 in Curitiba, Brazil; April 30 in Montevideo, Uruguay; and May 4 in Mexico City.

Sebastian Bach says: “2024 marks the 35th Anniversary of the 1st record ‘Skid Row” and on SELECT dates in 2024 we will be playing the record in its entirety! We will not be doing this at every show.”

Sebastian Bach, no stranger to commemorating SKID ROW milestones, previously marked the album’s 30th anniversary with a U.S. tour in the summer/fall of 2019. During this tour, he not only showcased the entire debut record but also treated audiences to other hits from his extensive catalog.

Released in the winter of 1989, “Skid Row” catapulted the band into the upper echelons of heavy rock with a Top 10 spot on the Billboard chart and millions of copies sold worldwide. The record’s rebellious spirit and exceptional talent transformed SKID ROW from a local New Jersey quintet into a global phenomenon, setting the standard for rock music in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Hits like “18 And Life,” “Youth Gone Wild,” and “I Remember You” remain iconic rock anthems to this day.

SKID ROW continued its success with the multi-platinum-certified “Slave To The Grind” (1991), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Sebastian Bach fronted SKID ROW until 1996 when he was let go. Following a brief hiatus, the remaining members formed the band OZONE MONDAY. In 1999, SKID ROW reunited, and after some lineup changes over the years, the band featured bassist Rachel Bolan, guitarists Dave “Snake” Sabo and Scotti Hill, alongside drummer Rob Hammersmith and singer Johnny Solinger.

Johnny Solinger was dismissed from SKID ROW in April 2015, and Tony Harnell briefly took over before being replaced by ZP Theart. In February 2022, Theart parted ways with the band, making room for Erik Grönwall to step in as the new frontman.

Sebastian Bach continued to pay homage to SKID ROW‘s legacy with a U.S. tour in 2021, celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Slave To The Grind.” The upcoming shows in 2024 promise to be another immersive experience for fans, as Bach revisits the album that laid the foundation for SKID ROW‘s monumental success.
