QUEENSRŸCHE vocalist Todd La Torre is selling one of four remaining pairs of drum sticks that were used by drummer Scott Rockenfield during the recording of the band’s 2013 self-titled album.
Says Todd: “After drum recordings were completed, Scott gave me these sticks, to which I went to the studio kitchen to roll them up in saran wrap. They have been in my closet ever since. These are Regal Tip 5B “X” series with Scott Rockenfield signature and QUEENSRŸCHE logo printed in the sticks. Own a piece of history!! Condition: Sticks are worn due to recording. These are the real deal that recorded the album.”
Earlier in the month, Rockenfield, who hasn’t performed with QUEENSRŸCHE in more than four years, wrote on his Facebook page: “R ya READY TO F***in’ ROCK !!!?? ….I AM !!!!!!! — bruhahahha… www.queensryche2021.com *Welcome to the New World * Join the Legion”.
QUEENSRŸCHE have been using former KAMELOT drummer Casey Grillo for touring purposes since April 2017, which has left many fans wondering about Rockenfield’s status with the band.
The drum tracks on QUEENSRŸCHE’s latest album, 2019’s “The Verdict”, were laid down by La Torre.
