LAST IN LINE have announced a run of dates for early 2024
LAST IN LINE is the band which features frontman Andrew Freeman, bassist Phil Soussan (ex-OZZY OSBOURNE) and original DIO members Vivian Campbell (DEF LEPPARD) and Vinny Appice (ex-BLACK SABBATH).

In March, earMUSIC released the third album from LAST IN LINE, titled “Jericho.” Steering the production was Chris Collier, known for his work with KORN and WHITESNAKE, among other notable bands. The initial two albums by LAST IN LINE were crafted under the guidance of Jeff Pilson, the former DOKKEN and current FOREIGNER bassist.
Despite enduring two years of isolation, “Jericho” was crafted in adherence to the finest hard rock traditions, showcasing stellar studio performances from an exceptional all-star lineup.
Last year, LAST IN LINE surprised fans with a distinctive rendition of THE BEATLES classic “A Day In The Life,” featured on a limited 12-inch silver collector’s EP bearing the same title.
The collaboration between LAST IN LINE and earMUSIC was announced in February 2022 by Appice during an episode of “Waste Some Time With Jason Green.” Vinny further disclosed that the band had wrapped up recording six additional new tracks in late January at Danny “Count” Koker‘s Desert Moon studios in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Founded in 2012 by Appice, Campbell, and bassist Jimmy Bain — collaborators and co-writers with Ronnie James Dio on the “Holy Diver,” “Last In Line,” and “Sacred Heart” albums — LAST IN LINE initially aimed to pay homage to Dio‘s early work by reuniting the original DIO lineup. Following shows exclusively featuring material from the first three DIO albums, the band decided to forge ahead and create new music in a similar spirit.
Their debut album, “Heavy Crown,” dropped in February 2016 via Frontiers Music Srl, soaring to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Heatseekers chart. Tragically, the release was preceded by the unexpected passing of bassist Jimmy Bain on January 23, 2016, at the age of 68. In honoring Bain‘s desire to keep the band moving forward, LAST IN LINE enlisted Soussan and embarked on extensive touring to support the album. This commitment carried over to their subsequent release, 2019’s “II,” also presented by Frontiers Music Srl.
