JINJER vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk says she has “99 problems I have to solve” before she can think of working on the band’s next studio album
JINJER fans eagerly awaiting a new album might need to exercise patience. In a recent interview with Metal Hammer, vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk revealed that the band isn’t currently prioritizing the creation of a follow-up to their 2021 release, “Wallflowers.” This candid admission suggests that fans may have to wait a while longer before sinking their teeth into fresh JINJER material.
“I confess that I haven’t started writing anything yet,” she tells Metal Hammer. “I think I will suffer this year with writing lyrics. There’s 99 problems that I have to solve right now – taxes, personal stuff. I honestly can’t find the inspiration to write.”
Despite not yet delving into their next album, JINJER remains far from idle. Since the launch of “Wallflowers” in 2021, the band has maintained an intense touring schedule, gracing stages alongside heavyweights like DISTURBED and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE.
