The 2024 edition of Hellfest, scheduled for June 27-30 in Clisson, France, has just revealed its initial lineup of 24 confirmed artists, which includes notable names like FOO FIGHTERS, MEGADETH, and IRON MAIDEN’s Bruce Dickinson

“We still have over 160 bands to announce by the end of the year,” Hellfest organizers said in a statement, adding: “Be patient. You won’t be disappointed!”
Hellfest stands as an annual open-air extravaganza and ranks among Europe’s premier metal festivals. In response to the persistent pandemic challenges, it regrettably canceled its 2020 and 2021 editions. However, the festival made a triumphant return in 2022, expanding to two weekends, treating audiences to seven days of performances featuring some of the globe’s most prominent metal and hard rock acts.
In 2023, Hellfest adopted a four-day format, setting the stage for over 200 bands to grace its six festival stages. Renowned for its international flair, Hellfest typically curates a lineup that is 90 percent composed of global acts, attracting an audience where 20 percent hails from overseas.
Within the festival’s epicenter, the Hell City Square serves as a hub for exploration, housing partner booths, exhibitor showcases, and an expansive metal market adorned with decorations reminiscent of the grandeur found in the most spectacular science-fiction films.
