DOKKEN, the legendary American rockers, are set to drop their 13th studio album, titled “Heaven Comes Down,” scheduled for release on October 27 via Silver Lining Music

This forthcoming album, a follow-up to 2012’s “Broken Bones,” was brought to life through the combined efforts of Bill Palmer and Don Dokken as producers, with mixing duties handled by the renowned Kevin Shirley (known for his work with AEROSMITH and IRON MAIDEN).

The official music video for the third single from the album, “Over The Mountain,” was crafted by Above The Void and can be viewed below. Throughout the creative process, which spanned a year at Palmer’s studio in Santa Fe, DOKKEN‘s signature sound remains as compelling as ever. However, “Heaven Comes Down” also introduces a new dimension, infusing their music with a unique desert-inspired flavor.

For those seeking high-energy rock, “Fugitive” beckons with Jon Levin‘s shimmering guitar work, a core element of the band for over two decades. On the other hand, if you’re in the mood for ballads, “I’ll Never Give Up” features a powerful chorus while Levin delivers a standout solo. “Heaven Comes Down” consistently delivers on both fronts. “Just Like A Rose” combines the coastal vibes of the Pacific Highway with the desert’s smooth, road-worthy sound, while “Saving Grace” evokes a sense of mystic intensity. The track “Santa Fe” stands out, with Don Dokken sharing a poignant, life-driven narrative against a stripped-down acoustic backdrop. This may well be considered a defining moment in DOKKEN‘s career.

Don Dokken emphasizes his enthusiasm for the new record and the band’s future, signaling his intention to move beyond the band’s past issues that often dominated headlines away from the stage and studio. He states, “I’m so tired of hearing about the fighting and the ‘this’ and ‘that’… this is about a new record. a new record with my new band. It’s been a long process, but at the end of the day, I think we have lightning in a bottle.”

Heaven Comes Down” will see various formats of release, including CD digipak, 12-inch vinyl albums in black and colored variants, digital formats, and special D2C products and bundles.
