CROSSES (†††) have enhanced the launch of their first official tour since 2014 by debuting a music video for the track “Big Youth”
The band recently revealed the visual counterpart to their track “Big Youth,” featuring a guest appearance by rapper/producer EL-P, known for his work with RUN THE JEWELS and COMPANY FLOW. Directed by VOWWS vocalist/keyboardist Arezo “Rizz” Khanjani, the video accompanies a song from CROSSES (†††)‘ latest album, “Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete,” released in October.
In related news, the band’s duo, Chino Moreno (of DEFTONES, etc.) and Shaun Lopez (of FAR, etc.), have announced a series of headlining dates across Europe and the UK for their glitch dream pop project. You can get those dates below as well as the run of shows for the group’s North American trek.
“Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete.” includes two noteworthy guest appearances, with Robert Smith from the iconic English goth rock band THE CURE gracing “Girls Float † Boys Cry,” and El-P, one half of the renowned hip hop duo RUN THE JEWELS, contributing to “Big Youth.”
“When we started working on Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete, there was so much more light coming in my life, for numerous reasons,” said vocalist Chino Moreno. “There’s a lot more optimism. Even the darker themes are more romanticized and not coming from a place of despair.”
CROSSES (†††) is an alternative rock band formed in 2011. The band comprises two core members: Shaun Lopez, known for his work with the band FAR, and Chino Moreno, primarily recognized as the frontman of the influential alternative metal band DEFTONES. The duo is joined by a rotating lineup of collaborators.
The band’s music combines elements of alternative rock, electronic, and ambient genres, characterized by haunting melodies, intricate rhythms, and ethereal atmospheres.
