CREED may be announcing a reunion sooner than later with some new clues being revealed online

Get ready to dust off your cargo pants and unleash your inner angst, because it seems like a CREED reunion might be in the works. And no, this isn’t just a case of the band feeling fancy and changing their Facebook profile and banner. There are actually some solid reasons to believe that something is brewing.

First off, CREED has updated their Facebook page with a brand new logo. Now, unless they suddenly developed an obsession with graphic design, this can only mean one thing: they’re up to something. Secondly, their website is currently locked behind a password, which usually suggests that some work is being done behind the scenes. It’s like a musical detective case, and we’re all eagerly waiting for the big reveal.

Now, before you roll your eyes and dismiss the idea of a CREED reunion, hear us out. The nostalgia for 2000s alt-rock and nü-metal is at an all-time high. It’s like we’ve collectively decided to embrace our cringe-worthy past and revel in those angsty anthems once again. And let’s face it, CREED has probably been getting offers for reunion shows for years. They’re like that ex you keep running into at social events, but this time you’re secretly hoping for a reconciliation.

According to guitarist Mark Tremonti, people have been buzzing about a CREED reunion for a while. In a recent interview, he revealed, “We always get calls from people that are interested in putting a show together. But it’s tough to get a band that hasn’t toured in 10 years to just do a show. We would have to put it all together. We would have to put weeks into preparing the production and weeks into doing the rehearsals. And it’s a big production. You can’t just do one show.”

Tremonti also added, “It’s just a matter of timing for everybody. Everybody’s juggling so many projects, we would just have to find a window where it made sense.”

Timing seems to be the main obstacle here. Everyone in the band, including Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips, and bassist Brian Marshall, has been busy with their own projects. It’s like they’re juggling flaming torches while riding a unicycle. But hey, where there’s a will, there’s a way. They just need to find that perfect window of opportunity when the planets align and all their schedules miraculously coincide.

Currently, Tremonti and some of the former CREED members are playing together in ALTER BRIDGE, while vocalist Scott Stapp is busy with his solo venture. So it’s a matter of aligning stars, syncing calendars, and unleashing that signature CREED sound once more.

In the wise words of Tremonti, “You never know. It’s just one of those things where whenever it comes up, either our camp or Scott has something going on at the moment. So our stars have to align. In fact, right now if a promoter said, ‘Hey, we wanna do a huge Creed tour,’ I’d have to bypass all the stuff we’re working on at the moment. So we just have to wait till the time is right.”

So, my fellow rock enthusiasts, stay tuned and keep those fingers crossed. The moment you’ve been eagerly waiting for (or perhaps dreading, depending on your musical preferences) might be right around the corner. Let’s hope the forces of fate align and bless us with a glorious CREED reunion, where we can once again embrace those power ballads and scream our hearts out like it’s 2002.
