Previous drummer Dave Lombardo, who contributed as a guest drummer on TESTAMENT‘s 1999 studio album “The Gathering,” officially became a member of the enduring San Francisco Bay Area band last year. The former SLAYER drummer is presently associated with several musical projects, including the MISFITS, MR. BUNGLE, EMPIRE STATE BASTARD, and SATANIC PLANET, among others. Additionally, he was part of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES from 2016 until 2020.

Before assuming a permanent role with TESTAMENT, Dovas stepped in for Lombardo on the initial six dates of TESTAMENT‘s summer/fall 2022 leg of “The Bay Strikes Back Tour.” Lombardo was unable to participate in these performances due to a scheduling conflict with the MISFITS.
