As reported by Rolling Stone, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, along with their children Jack and Kelly, have resurrected their ‘The Osbournes’ podcast
The second season of “The Osbournes” is set to premiere on September 12.
Following the initial season in 2018, this sequel will comprise 20 episodes, available in both video and audio formats. The discussions will span a wide range of topics, from romance to true crime. These episodes will be recorded at the Osbourne family home and will feature Ozzy’s solo episodes, where he engages in conversations with his longtime friend, musician Billy Morrison. Their discussions will cover everything from food to his experiences with BLACK SABBATH and even delve into the topic of aliens. Teasers for the first two episodes can be found below.
“The Osbournes,” which achieved the highest ratings for an original program in MTV‘s history, originally aired from 2002 to 2005. This groundbreaking “fly-on-the-wall” TV series provided an intimate look into the lives of Ozzy and his family, including Sharon‘s courageous battle with cancer and the challenges faced by their younger children, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, during their stints in rehabilitation for drug and alcohol abuse.
“The Osbournes” is often credited with pioneering the genre where cameras follow celebrities in their everyday lives, setting the stage for numerous similar shows, such as A&E’s “Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” which chronicled the life of KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his family, as well as A&E’s “Growing Up Twisted,” which offered a glimpse into the family of TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider.
