MUDVAYNE are planning on working on new material in the days ahead.
The band reunited in 2021 with a show at the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in September and followed the performance with a number of other sets at a handful of U.S. festivals.
MUDVAYNE are also currently booked for a summer run of dates with Rob Zombie, STATIC-X and POWERMAN 5000.
Se we think it’s pretty safe to say that MUDVAYNE is back.
In a new interview with AVENGED SEVENFOLD bassist Johnny Christ on his “Drinks With Johnny” podcast, vocalist Chad Gray has revealed that MUDVAYNE plan on writing new materiel soon. Chad made the comment toward the end of the interview, saying he’s excited to hear new AVENGED SEVENFOLD and mentioned that MUDVAYNE is “going to be working on some new shit soon too.”
“I’m really excited to hear your new shit and Mudvayne is hopefully going to be working on some new shit soon, too” he said. “So awesome. I can’t wait to definitely get our heads together. Maybe we could do some do some touring or something someday.”
The next MUDVAYNE album, if there is one on the works, will be their first collection of new material since 2009’s self-titled album.
