MACHINE HEAD were joined by HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta on stage during their May 28 performance at Milwaukee Metal Fest
The event took place at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and those in attendance were witness to Jasta performing the Robb Flynn fronted group’s classic track “Davidian”.

For the Metal Fest performance, MACHINE HEAD once again brought on HAVOK‘s Reece Alan Scruggs to play second guitar. Scruggs previously played with MH on the “Electric Happy Hour (Live)” fall 2022 tour. Reece was filling in for six-stringer Wacław “Vogg” Kiełtyka, who was unable to make the fall 2022 tour due to previous road commitments with his longtime band DECAPITATED.
Just last month, Flynn and the band had to cancel their previously announced spring 2023 U.S. tour “due to work visa issues,” explaining that “half the band, as well as a handful of key crew members, reside outside of the U.S.”
The 18-date “The Electric Happy Hour (Live)” run of dates was set to commence on May 15 in Ventura, California and wrap on June 9 with a show in Los Angeles.
MACHINE HEAD has been touring in support of their latest album, “Of Kingdom And Crown”, which came out last August. The follow-up to 2018’s “Catharsis” includes the three songs that were featured on the 2021 “Arrows In Words From The Sky” single: “Become The Firestorm”, “Rotten” and “Arrows In Words From The Sky”. Much of the new album was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with engineer/producer Zack Ohren.
