LAMB OF GOD Pull Out of Tonight’s Show As RANDY BLYTHE Continues To Recover

lamb of god metal tour of the year, LAMB OF GOD Pull Out of Tonight’s Show As RANDY BLYTHE Continues To Recover

LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe continues to recover from COVID-19 which initially caused him to miss the band’s April 19 show in Grand Rapids, MI.

For that show, LAMOF GOD recruited CHIMAIRA singer Mark Hunter to fill in on vocal duties alongside fellow tour mates Anders Fridén of IN FLAMES and Matt Heafy of TRIVIUM.

Unfortunately it seems that Hunter has become sick with a non-COVID-related illnmess while Randy still recovers, leaving LAM  GOD no choice but to cancel their appearance for tonight’s “Metal Tour Of The Year” show in Fort Wayne, IN.

The band released a statement earlier today, saying: “Fort Wayne – we made our best efforts to put on a show tonight but unfortunately it is just not possible. Mark Hunter went above and beyond to make the show happen for us Tuesday and unfortunately has fallen ill today (NOT Covid). We truly appreciate his efforts but it appears the universe has other plans for us. We are working hard to make the show happen tomorrow and will update our fans in Green
Bay as soon as we can.

“Megadeth, Trivium and In Flames will play as scheduled tonight. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
