L.A. GUNS‘ Tracii Guns has announced the band’s new drummer Shawn Duncan as the replacement for Shane Fitzgibbon.
Duncan is an established live player, having sat behind the drum kit for such rock acts as Dizzy Reed (GUNS N’ ROSES), Jack Russell and Mark Kendall (GREAT WHITE), Gilby Clarke (GUNS N’ ROSES), Frank Hannon (TESLA) and Rudy Sarzo (OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITESNAKE, QUIET RIOT).
L.A. GUNS are set to hit the road for a 40-date U.S. trek throughout the spring, summer and winter months of this year which kicks off on June 1 in Liverpool, New York.
L.A. GUNS latest album, “Checkered Past”, was released last November via Frontiers Music Srl.
Back in April 2021, a court settlement was agreed upon by drummer Steve Riley and Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis over the rights to the name L.A. GUNS. Guns and Lewis will now continue to use the L.A. GUNS name and trademark, while Riley and his bandmates from the other version of the band will now be known as STEVE RILEY’S L.A. GUNS.
