Pioneering industrial metal group GODFLESH are set to hit the road for a North American headlining tour this summer and fall in support of their forthcoming studio album “Purge“
GODFLESH have also released the opening track off the album, which is called “Nero“, and can be heard below.
Speaking about the new song, GODFLESH‘s Justin K. Broadrick said: “‘Nero‘, as a symbol and reminder of irresponsible self destruction as being practiced always, now and forever…. in classic Godflesh tradition, 3 self reinterpretations are presented, to display the many sides of the same coin…”
The three reinterpretations he mentions are part of a newly issued EP for the single, which features the studio version along with several remixes and alternate versions of the track.
“Purge” will arrive on June 9th.
