Former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson has introduced his inaugural “Bass Odyssey Tour,” embarking on a journey through select European cities
This tour promises an enthralling evening of timeless melodies, lesser-known gems, and insightful anecdotes from his remarkable career. It encompasses his founding role in MEGADETH, his ELLEFSON solo catalog, and beyond.
Joining him on this musical adventure is the accomplished Italian guitarist and musical director, Andy Martongelli. Andy is a longstanding friend and collaborator, having accompanied Ellefson on various solo projects, including “Basstory,” ELLEFSON-SOTO, and the ALTITUDES & ATTITUDE tours throughout Europe.
On drums, you’ll experience the exceptional skills of Roberto Pirami (known for his work with Michael Angelo Batio, Rowan Robertson, and Gus G.), while vocals will be handled by Titta Tani (formerly of EHFAR and the ex-drummer of Claudio Simonetti’s GOBLIN). Rounding out the lineup on rhythm guitar is Walter Cianciusi, who has previously played with the Geoff Tate band.
