ATREYU has unveiled the official music video for their track “Forevermore”
This song is part of the third and final segment of their EP series, “A Torch In The Dark,” which became available on Friday, November 3. This release serves as a prelude to their upcoming album, “The Beautiful Dark Of Life,” scheduled for December through Spinefarm Records.
“A Torch In The Dark” EP extends the narrative introduced in the previous EPs, “The Hope Of A Spark” and “The Moment You Find Your Flame,” culminating in “The Beautiful Dark Of Life.” Together, these three segments form a cohesive narrative, akin to pieces of a puzzle that, when combined, create something more profound.
The EP delves into themes of self-discovery, finding one’s purpose, confidence, and envisioning the future. It signifies a triumphant journey through shadows, a conquest of darkness – at least for the moment.
“Many people remember these moments and experiences that shaped who they are in very formative years,” ATREYU frontman Brandon Saller says. “But for me, that period of my life is one big void. There are things about me as a person and things I do to this day that I don’t like, but I don’t understand why.”
“We draw strength from each other and give each other the space and support to be the best, most creative person we can be,” guitarist Dan Jacobs explains. “And together, right now, that makes us the best band we’ve ever been.”
“Everything that we have put out to this point has built up to this moment,” concludes Jacobs. “Something special is happening with ATREYU right now. We can feel the creativity and collaboration when the five of us get in the studio. We can feel the confidence we all give each other when we stand on stage together. And we can see it in the audience when they’re losing their minds. They’re having as good a time as we are ourselves.”

ATREYU recently embarked on the “We Want Your Misery” tour with MEMPHIS MAY FIRE, featuring support acts CATCH YOUR BREATH and ANOTHER DAY DAWNS. In addition, they also shared stages with GODSMACK on selected dates and later embarked on a series of Canadian shows alongside IRON MAIDEN, commencing on September 28.
