THE OFFSPRING have released the official video for the song “This Is Not Utopia”. The track is taken from the band’s latest album, “Let The Bad Times Roll”, which arrived in April via Concord Records. The follow-up to 2012’s “Days Go By” was once again produced by Bob Rock, who also worked on the band’s last two LPs. The video, which can be seen below, was directed by Samuel Bayer.

In a recent interview with Forbes, THE OFFSPRING singer Bryan “Dexter” Holland spoke about the new album, which talks about the roots of American “hysteria”, saying: “Look around. It’s obvious this is not utopia. To put it a nicer way, we could do better. We could do better, right?

“It’s important for us to not come across as political,” he continued. “I never want to be preachy, I never want to tell you that you should think like this, that you should do something or act a certain way, but I do want to throw the observations out there and you can draw your own point — whether you are a liberal or a conservative — to think about the things that we can all do to make things better.”
