California’s comedic glam metal sensation, STEEL PANTHER, has unveiled exciting plans for a holiday tour in support of their latest album
The “On The Prowl Winter Holidaze” tour is all set to ignite the festive season this December. STEEL PANTHER is gearing up to deliver a rollicking performance for fans, including all those mischievous housewives, as they embark on a 12-city journey. The tour will kick off on December 1 in Cleveland, Ohio, and culminate in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 17. Along the way, they’ll be making merry stops in notable places such as Flint, Michigan (December 5), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (December 10), and Louisville, Kentucky (December 16), among others. Adding to the holiday cheer on this tour will be the Seattle rockers MOON FEVER, who will be joining STEEL PANTHER for these festivities.
Currently, STEEL PANTHER is wrapping up a series of electrifying performances in Canada before making their way back to the United States and then heading off to Latin America next month. Their Canadian itinerary includes shows in Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Dawson Creek, Prince George, and Penticton. Following their Canadian escapades, they’ll be returning to the U.S. for performances in Billings, Montana, and Boise, Idaho. The band’s commitment to spreading their infectious love for music across the globe continues as they are scheduled to hit Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico in October.
It’s worth noting that last month, STEEL PANTHER graced the stage of the “America’s Got Talent” reality television and talent competition series on the August 29 episode. They delivered a performance of their classic anthem “Death To All But Metal” from their 2009 album “Feel the Steel.” Of course, they did make some lyrical adjustments to ensure it was primetime-friendly for NBC.
STEEL PANTHER‘s most recent studio album, “On The Prowl,” was unleashed to the world in February to the delight of their fervent fan base. Notably, in September 2022, the band introduced Spyder as their new bassist, further solidifying their rocking lineup.
Their music is often described as a raucous blend of “VAN HALEN meets MÖTLEY CRÜE meets RATT meets ‘Wayne’s World‘,” characterized by operatic wails, tongue-in-cheek humor, blistering guitar solos, and an unapologetic embrace of excess.
Fifteen years ago, STEEL PANTHER underwent a transformation from their initial name “METAL SKOOL” to their current moniker and redirected their focus from ’80s metal covers to crafting their own original tunes, solidifying their status as one of the most entertaining and iconic acts in glam metal.
