In the latest episode of the recently revived “The Osbournes” podcast, Ozzy Osbourne made a surprising revelation about his pursuit of better health

The iconic BLACK SABBATH singer, who has been battling Parkinson’s disease and faced the challenges of a severe fall that impacted metal rods in his spine, expressed his intent to explore tai chi as a means to enhance his well-being.

Commenting on his decision to try out tai chi, Ozzy said: “It’s good for balance. It’s a new adventure.”

Ozzy Osbourne, now 74 years old, has been grappling with mobility issues since his debilitating 2019 fall, which exacerbated a decade-old spinal injury, and his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease in 2020. He shared, “I wanna get back. All options are open for me now.”

Tai chi, an ancient Chinese martial art, is often characterized as “meditation in motion.” This gentle, low-impact practice incorporates a sequence of movements inspired by animal actions or martial arts techniques. Typically performed at a deliberate, unhurried pace, these motions are synchronized with controlled breathing patterns and mental focus, promoting relaxation and inner harmony. Tai chi exercises can be carried out while walking, standing, or sitting.

In July, Ozzy Osbourne had to cancel his appearance at the forthcoming Power Trip festival due to his ongoing health challenges.

Meanwhile, Ozzy’s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, has disclosed plans to establish a museum dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne‘s memorabilia in his hometown of Birmingham, England.

Speaking on the most recent episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon said: “I’ve been busy trying to get together daddy’s memorabilia for the memorabilia place that we’re opening in Birmingham.”

Asked by Jack if that meant Ozzy and Sharon were coming back to live in the U.K., she said: “No, but he’s having all of his awards [in the museum], all his stage clothes, posters, old posters from [early incarnation of SABBATHEARTH days. I’ve got so much memorabilia.

“We’re gonna do it totally interactive — every video, every live show of your dad’s, everything there,” she continued. “It’s more of an educational thing for musicians and artists that wanna see that you can come from nothing, and if you work hard enough this is what you can get.

“We’re going to have a café, and in there we’re going to have every instrument you can think of. Music students can come in and we’re gonna do music classes, because there’s no music at schools anymore. We’re gonna get friends, other musicians to come in.”

The announcement of this exhibition comes four years after a three-month showcase titled “Black Sabbath 50 Years” at Birmingham Music & Art Gallery focused on Ozzy‘s former band, BLACK SABBATH.

Ozzy‘s remarkable career has seen him sell over 100 million records, maintain a presence on the top ten albums chart for six consecutive decades, achieve induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as a co-founder of BLACK SABBATH, secure five Grammy Awards (three as a solo artist and two as a BLACK SABBATH member), receive the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors, set a Guinness World Record, and earn recognition on both the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and the Birmingham Walk Of Stars. His performances have spanned the globe, captivating royalty, world leaders, and millions of devoted fans across five continents.
