Las Vegas-based band SWAGGERMOUTH isn’t your typical rock outfit. Founded by the husband-and-wife duo of Jason Ebs (Peter Criss band) and Janea Chadwick Ebs, SWAGGERMOUTH is a concept, a voice, and a musical experience that aims to represent the collective voice of the people. But in a badass way.
This strait up, in your face rock act has a philosophy that is simple yet powerful: to promote harmony and open discourse while acknowledging the ever-present chaos of the world. As they say, “We straddle the line between decency and selfishness, harmony & discourse, with sanity and truth all but a distant memory in the rearview mirror.”
Music with a Message (Delivered in “Slammin’ Pop” and “Controlled Chaos”)
SWAGGERMOUTH is a collective that doesn’t believe shouting the loudest gets you heard. Instead, their music speaks volumes. Their sound is a dynamic blend of heavy riffs and catchy melodies, a unique fusion of metal, funk, soul, jazz, and rock that they call “slammin’ pop” and “controlled chaos.”
The “controlled chaos” label comes courtesy of a rock legend himself – Chris Slade, the onetime drummer of AC/DC. Not only did Slade lend his explosive drumming talents to their debut album, “Never Shut Up,” but he also co-wrote half the tracks, ensuring an adrenaline-pumping soundscape.
The band’s debut album, “Never Shut Up,” is due to arrive in late July via Rock Avenue Records USA and promises a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Jason Ebs, a seasoned musician who previously toured with original KISS drummer Peter Criss‘s solo band as it’s flamboyant frontman, handles guitars, bass, and drums (filling in for Slade when necessary) alongside his wife Janea‘s powerful vocals at his newly acquired studio he named, “Dragon Castle Studio”, which was the former studio of platinum-selling rock band IMAGINE DRAGONS. The live band features Billy Kesner on drums, Borgi on keyboards, and Joseph Nile on bass, solidifying their dynamic stage presence.

SWAGGERMOUTH‘s mission extends beyond creating great music. They believe in the unifying power of music, a force that transcends age, background, and social boundaries. Their vision is for their music to reach every corner of the globe, uplifting spirits and inspiring people to dance and celebrate life.

Speaking about “Never Shut Up“, Jason shares: “Musically it covers the gamut of human emotions, from super heavy to tender to angry and maybe even a little happy, just like real life. We called it “Never Shut Up” because lyrically we like to address topics of today’s society, and as Americans we’ve painted ourselves into a corner and find ourselves afraid to speak and having to watch everything that we say.
