Late QUIET RIOT drummer Frankie Banali was honored with a bust which was unveiled at a private ceremony at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood, California on Sunday, November 14. What made it extra special is that it would have been the late drummer’s 70th birthday. You can check out pictures and video from the event below.

Among those in attendance for the “Frankie Banali Celebration Of Life – 70th Birthday Party” were all the members of the current lineup of QUIET RIOT, former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright, ex-WHITESNAKE/DIO guitarist Doug Aldrich, former GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke, GUNS N’ ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed and legendary bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, THE DEAD DAISIES).

Frankie Banali died in August 2020 after a 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

As previously reported, a public funeral service for Frankie Banali will be held today (Monday, November 15) at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
