A group made up of friends, family and fans gathered this past Saturday (March 19) at late OZZY OSBOURNE/QUIET RIOT guitarist Randy Rhoads‘s gravesite at the Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery in San Bernardino, California to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his death.
On hand were Randy’s sister Kathy and brother Kelle as well, representing the Rhoads family. You can check out photos of the event below courtesy of people who were there.
People reportedly travel from around the world, as far as Japan and New Zealand, to the cemetery to pay tribute to the late musician.
Rhoads and two others were killed on March 19, 1982 when the plane they were flying in at Flying Baron Estates in Leesburg, Florida struck Ozzy Osbourne’s tour bus, then crashed into a massive tree and then a home. Randy Rhoads was 25 years old.
