In November 2021, EXODUS thrilled fans with the release of their latest album, “Persona Non Grata,” through Nuclear Blast.

The album was recorded at a studio in Lake Almanor, California, with engineering credits going to both Steve Lagudi and the band members of EXODUS. Taking on production duties themselves, EXODUS created a powerful and raw sound that was later mixed by the acclaimed Andy Sneap. Notably, the album’s artwork was crafted by the talented Swedish artist Pär Olofsson, making it the third time the band collaborated with him.

Persona Non Grata” served as a much-anticipated follow-up to 2014’s “Blood In Blood Out.” This album marked a significant milestone for the San Francisco Bay Area thrashers, as it was the first release following the departure of their lead singer of nine years, Rob Dukes. Furthermore, it marked the return of Steve “Zetro” Souza, who previously fronted EXODUS from 1986 to 1993 and from 2002 to 2004.
