The 62-year-old vocalist, known as George Alan O’Dowd in real life, recently posted a brief video from NAPALM DEATH‘s performance on September 12 at The Triffid in Brisbane, Australia. In his accompanying message, he shared: “Saw the noise monsters @officialND last night and my ears are still ringing. Loved all of the stuff [NAPALM DEATH frontman] Barney had to say. Totally tight band (no other way of saying it, lol) Hey Barney see you at the coffee counter! Comment of the night ‘shut up you fresh faced fucker'”.

Boy George is currently commemorating CULTURE CLUB‘s remarkable four-decade journey with a captivating “Greatest Hits” tour across Australia. The renowned musician, renowned for his flamboyant attire and bold makeup, which created a captivatingly androgynous image that took the early days of MTV by storm, is sharing the stage with guitarist Roy Hay and bassist Mikey Craig. Together, they are delighting audiences with beloved tracks spanning their extensive discography.

This momentous tour commenced on September 5 at Perth’s RAC Arena, followed by sensational performances at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on September 8 and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on September 9. The tour continued with a memorable show at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on September 11 before concluding with an epic finale at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on September 14.

NAPALM DEATH, a British-American extreme metal band, originated in Meriden, West Midlands, England, back in 1981. While the band has seen changes in its original lineup, the core trio of vocalist Mark “Barney” Greenway, bassist Shane Embury, and drummer Danny Herrera has remained a constant force throughout most of their storied career.
