The performance show, which was a tribute and celebration of the lives of Megaforce Records founder Jon “Jonny Z” Zazula and his wife Marsha Zazula, saw METALLICA play songs exclusively from their first two albums, 1983’s “Kill ‘Em All” and 1984’s “Ride The Lightning”, which were both originally released on Megaforce.
Jonny Z died in February 2022 at the age of 69 due to complications of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and osteopenia. Marsha passed away of cancer in January of 2021.
