RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy is set to film a virtual concert with his solo band on February 26 and February 27 which will be made available to stream at a later date. The event is going to be filmed at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California and apparently could feature an appearance by former RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer.
On Thursday night (February 25), Pearcy shared a Metal Sludge article to his Instagram about a possible reunion with Blotzer, writing: “Hmmm, we’ll have to wait and see”. Pearcy later shared a photo from Thursday night’s rehearsal, featuring the singer standing next to an unidentified drummer who has his back turned to the camera. Stephen captioned the picture: “Rehearsal tonight had swing. #drummerswhoplayyamaha #rattbastards #streamconcerts #backstagepast #concert #Ratt”
Blotzer led his own version of RATT starting in 2015 before a legal battle with Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and bassist Juan Croucier over the rights to the band’s name, which saw the latter three walk away with the rights to the band name.
Pearcy and Croucier are the sole remaining original members in RATT’s current lineup. Joining them in the band are drummer Pete Holmes (BLACK ‘N BLUE, RATT’S JUAN CROUCIER) and guitarist Jordan Ziff (RAZER).
