JUDAS PRIEST frontman Rob Halford recently shared a short video of the band rehearsing for their upcoming U.S. tour.
Halford uploaded the video on Monday (February 28) which shows Rob and his bandmates running through the JUDAS PRIEST classic “The Sentinel”, along with the caption: “kicking the metal tires maniacs”.
Over the weekend, JUDAS PRIEST guitarist Richie Faulkner, who underwent emergency surgery five months ago after suffering an aortic aneurysm on stage during the band’s performance at the Louder Than Life festival, posted a pic of three of his guitars and included the following message: “And we’re back!! PRIEST rehearsals 2022!! Feels so good to be back after so much has happened. Having these US dates has really given me something to aim for as part of my recovery process, and the guitar, as always, has been my medicine throughout.
“It’s gonna be emotional to see all those faces out there once again next week and I’m really looking forward to seeing you all. Thanks for all your support through all of this and see you all soon. Hopefully I can remember the stuff!”
JUDAS PRIEST postponed the remainder of their U.S. dates on the “50 Heavy Metal Years” tour following Faulkner’s health scare. Those performances have since been rescheduled for March and April of this year.
