The incident in question took place during IRON MAIDEN‘s September 22 performance at the Honda Center while the band was playing the classic track “Aces High“.
The fan in question made his way to the left side of the stage where he dropped to his right knee and flashed the devil horns hand gesture toward guitarist Janick Gers as well as Dickinson. Bruce then tried to coerce the concert-goer to get off the stage which was rather unsuccessful as the fan proceeded to walk forward toward the center of the stage near where bassist Steve Harris was situated and began headbanging wildly. A visibly angered Dickinson then proceeded to grab the guy by the back of his shirt and drag him off stage where he was then escorted away by IRON MAIDEN‘s security team.
IRON MAIDEN kicked off the 2022 leg of their “Legacy Of The Beast” tour on May 22 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The iconic metal band is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, “Senjutsu“, which arrived in September 2021. The release marks IRON MAIDEN‘s second consecutive double album after 2015’s “The Book Of Souls“.
