Former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di’Anno caught up with the band’s bassist Steve Harris just prior to the legendary band’s performance in Croatia over the weekend.

IRON MAIDEN commenced their 2022 dates for their “Legacy Of The Beast” world tour at the Arena Zagreb in Croatia, however before the show, Harris took some time to catch up with his former frontman.

The wheelchair bound Di’anno has been spending the last few months in Croatia receiving physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage treatments in preparation for his upcoming knee surgery.

After the pair caught up, as seen in the video below, Di’Anno hung around to watch some of IRON MAIDEN‘s concert, including the band’s performance of the classic song “Iron Maiden” which he originally sang on, before leaving near the end of the concert to avoid the expected massive traffic jam after the show.

You can check out the video and a photo of Paul’s get-together with Steve Harris, courtesy of Stjepan Juras, below.  Juras is a longtime IRON MAIDEN fan and author of many books on the band.  He is currently taking care of Di’Anno during his stay in Croatia.

Di’Anno recorded the first two IRON MAIDEN albums with the band — their self-titled debut in 1980 and “Killers” in 1981 — before being fired and replaced by Bruce Dickinson.
