Legendary metal band MERCYFUL FATE kicked off their first North American headlining tour in over two decades last night at The Factory in Dallas, Texas
Filling in on bass for MERCYFUL FATE on the North American run is Becky Baldwin, known for her work with acts like FURY, TRIAXIS and CONTROL THE STORM. Baldwin stepping in for regular MERCYFUL FATE bassist Joey Vera, who has commitments with his other band ARMORED SAINT.
Vera joined MERCYFUL FATE in 2019 after original bass player Timi Hansen was diagnosed with cancer. Hansen eventually passed away in November 2019.
MERCYFUL FATE‘s North American tour features support from KREATOR and MIDNIGHT and sees the band hit 13 more stops before wrapping up the trek in Atlanta, Georgia on November 16.
