MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee was able to play the first three songs with the band at their concert Saturday night (June 18) at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
As Tommy recently announced, he broke four ribs a couple of weeks ago and despite doctor’s orders, the drummer has still hit the road with MÖTLEY CRÜE for their current “The Stadium Tour” with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS.
At the latest show, Tommy plowed through “Wild Side”, “Shout At The Devil” and “Too Fast For Love” with his bandmates and then left from behind his kit to speak to the crowd.
Lee then sat out the remainder of the set while Ozzy Osbourne/BLACK SABBATH drummer Tommy Clufetos took over for the remainder of the show.
Tommy did reappear however for the band’s performance of “Home Sweet Home” toward the end of MÖTLEY’s set.
