The erupting fashion trend of band shirts has evolved beyond simply admiring or being a fan of a particular group with even young kids now donning the logos of numerous acts on their chests much like their favorite celebrities.
One middle school teacher decided to find out whether her students knew any songs by the artists whose shirts they were wearing in a new TikTok video which has gone viral. It seemed that some of the young ones interviewed didn’t even know who the actual band or artist was that was so proudly featured on their shirts.
The clip was posted by PE teacher Brittney Jacobs which shows her students sporting t-shirts featuring bands such as METALLICA, KISS, NIRVANA, THE ROLLING STONES and more. When Jacobs asks, “Do you know who’s on your shirt? Can you name one song by them?” they inevitably say “no” to which she replies, “Exactly.”
Kind of like a Kardashian wearing a SLAYER or CANNIBAL CORPSE shirt.
